Billy:
It has simply been a need for me to see you and speak with you. I’m still always working at home and can find no rest. The whole day, I couldn’t get away from the typewriter and was typing the message that Arahat Athersata was transmitting to me. My wife laid down to rest an hour ago, and so I can now get away undisturbed. I made it clear to her that I will work the whole night, so I can speak in peace with you: I’ve thought very carefully about everything that you’ve said to me recently, but I cannot find a way or solution as to how I should do it all. Everything is very time-consuming: the contacts with you, then the Contact Reports that you transmit to me later, all the tasks and requirements that I do for you, and now still typing the messages of Arahat Athersata. Everything together is just very much, and I can no longer get around to earning a living for my family and me. I do still have some people who come to me and whom I treat or advise, but I cannot live on their small gifts alone. So since our first contact, I’ve practically lived and paid for all the necessary material that had to be purchased solely by my bank account. But now my one account is exhausted and 26,000 francs gone, and now I don’t know how everything is supposed to go on and if I have to clear the other account, too. I told you before that I live here on the materialistic Earth and not just somewhere in the sky. You evidently imagine it all too easy in relation to our lives, which still depend on financial means.
Semjase:
1. Sure, I understand your concerns and problems, but still, all things are far too important for us to endanger them with concerns like that.
2. But perhaps you are posing too many problems to yourself in this regard, because in the coming time, you will find very good friends who are determined for the group and who will help you.
3. But on the other hand, the spreading of the truth always causes things that are connected with problems, about which you should be clear to yourself.
4. Think of all those truth-proclaimers of earlier times, who had to overcome problems similar to those that have now also come to you.
5. It is completely incomprehensible to me that you are suddenly so worried about material things, as this is very contrary to your nature and attitude.
6. This is not a trait of your being, and it is completely foreign to me.
7. Why are you thinking extremely in this direction?
Billy:
Why? I find that a strange question from you. Does it not make sense to you that I have to feed and maintain my family? I can’t just go hungry and thirsty with my wife and children. But also many other things come together, which create new problems every month, namely running bills for house rent, telephone, electricity, and insurance and so forth. This costs me around 2100 francs a month in total, but I collect just under a third of this, which is why I already had to lay claim to one of my bank accounts and empty it. Also, the purchases for filming and photography and so on have cost tremendously much money. The times and circumstances cannot be compared or equated with those facts that prevailed thousands of years ago, because everything was not yet so technically conditioned and dependent on money.
Semjase:
8. Now I understand; so you don’t just have to be concerned about finances for food and such, but also for many more things that are important and unavoidable for you.
Billy:
That’s exactly how it is.
Semjase:
9. I actually haven’t considered that, because such problems are foreign to us.
10. But you’ve also never talked about these things in detail, so I was always of the view that with your livelihood, it concerned only facts of nourishment.
11. But that’s the way things look, and I now understand that you are posing problems to yourself because of that.
12. So under these circumstances, it is better for us to put aside at least some of our tasks for the time being and only pick them up again in later years.
Billy:
That is good and right, Semjase, but you don’t think that I’m getting older and won’t live forever as a miserable Earth human being?
Semjase:
13. Sure, but I don’t see any other way, because somehow, according to your stated circumstances, it will be necessary for you to pursue gainful employment, in order to do justice to your livelihood.
14. We must therefore restrict various things, even if this is very unserviceable to our cause.
15. At the same time, I just don’t understand why you find no support from your group, because everything is also in the interest of your members.
16. But this probably has to do with the fact that they are still too caught up in material webs.
Billy:
You’re good; even the group members, all the same, have to be concerned for their livelihood and all things connected with it.
Semjase:
17. Sure, but I still don’t see very clearly.
18. But on the other hand, I’ve approached you several times with the proposal to get you crystals that you could sell.
Billy:
You’re contradicting yourself, because you’ve nevertheless told me that I should “embalm” these for the time being.
Semjase:
19. It wasn’t meant that way, as you lay it out.
20. I only arranged certain security measures, for certain reasons.
Billy:
Okay, but how should I get the stuff out to people, and what if, during inspections, any radiations are detected, which are not of earthly origin?
Semjase:
21. You will find the way with the help of good friends; so you’re bringing out unnecessary problems in this respect.
22. Also, with regard to the radiations, you may rest assured, because the best analyses in this respect would not produce any results.
Billy:
Then other planets emit exactly the same radiations on crystals as our Earth does?
Semjase:
23. With this assumption, you’ve missed the mark, because the most diverse planets also produce the most diverse radiations, which of course are partly absorbed by all material things.
24. However, our technology allows such radiations to be taken away from all material forms, if these do not contain changeable life.
25. In this way, I have removed all radiation phenomena in the minerals and crystals handed over to you, whereby they naturally absorbed Earth’s own radiations in a few moments as they were being introduced into the earthly space, whereby no difference can be noticed anymore in comparison with earthly crystals and minerals of the same kind.
26. If the extraterrestrial radiations hadn’t been removed, however, then they would indeed be noticeable and often even dangerous for many life forms.
Billy:
So that’s how it is, and if I understand correctly, then with the changeable life, you mean all life forms that we designate as fauna and flora and so forth and as organic. Since you cannot rid such life forms of radiations, you had to eliminate the two trees that had absorbed radiations from your ship.
Semjase:
27. Your intuition is very pronounced.
Billy:
Thanks for the flowers; others judge my abilities therein quite differently, namely that they completely escape me.
Semjase:
28. I know you’re referring to your horoscope created for you, but pay no attention to that, because the assessment in it does not correspond to the facts.
29. You often deal too much with such wrong judgments made about you.
Billy:
I’m also just a human being, who makes his thoughts to himself about many things.
Semjase:
30. You shouldn’t do that, because your judges of your personality stand too far below you in a spiritual and consciousness-based form for you to have to worry about their analytical incapabilities.
Billy:
Don’t keep flinging about with the flower gardens, because I cannot and don’t want to nurture myself.
Semjase:
31. You must finally learn to do this, because you must not evaluate your capabilities only for your own use.
32. These are the good of all human beings, who are able to learn from these, if you reveal these to them.
Billy:
I’ll think it over thoroughly sometime. But now, with what was just discussed, there still remains the question regarding the crystals and minerals: How are you able to free these of their radiations? What is the process, and how does everything work?
Semjase:
33. Again, one of your questions that I’m not allowed to answer for the Earth human beings.
34. Your scientists already know how to absorb certain radiations from certain substances in small values, but only in very minimal values.
35. The way we work is justified by apparatuses in a regenerating form of work, whereas yours is based on a destructive basis.
36. Our apparatuses withdraw the radiations from things and set them free again converted into a good form, so they can be absorbed again by the respective planets.
37. The whole process is a regeneration process of a natural order.
38. The apparatus could, therefore, be called a “neutralizer” in your terms.
Billy:
Aha, that makes sense to me, but for my fellow human beings, your explanation is probably a little too meager. But if you’re not allowed to speak of it, then I don’t want to push you.
Semjase:
39. Your understanding is intuitive, and it tells me a lot more than your words do.
Billy:
Of course, but just now, you said that I shouldn’t worry about certain incorrect judgments regarding my person, whereas you yourself are now making an allusion to the intuitive.
Semjase:
40. You’re mistaken, because I wasn’t thinking of that at the moment.
41. My words sprang from the pure understanding of your statements and their cognition for me.
42. They are in no way related to the wrong judgment made about you.
Billy:
Then I take back what I said.
Semjase:
43. You shouldn’t do that, because we are only able to clarify one another if we always speak openly with each other.
Billy:
Those are very good words that please me. But now, I would like to talk again about my problem, which I have again considered during our conversation: Although I don’t know what areas of responsibility you want to put aside temporarily, I wonder whether this is good and useful?
Semjase:
44. It would be neither the one nor the other, and it would be unhelpful to us in every sense.
45. But since it doesn’t seem possible any other way, we have to take this step.
46. I will think about this thoroughly and also consult with the others.
Billy:
I am really very sorry, Semjase, but I am not effectively equipped with such great financial means that I could live without any further financial income. However, you’ve once again brought the talk to the crystals and minerals and reminded me of these things again. Maybe I can do something in this direction after all, with some help. On the other hand, I am still able to live with my family by the skin of my teeth for thirty to forty days, before I am completely at an end. If I can arrange something by then, then we don’t have to change anything in the present forms, but otherwise we will then limit everything to a minimum, which I would be extremely sorry for. Hence, I would still like to use the remaining time and see if something can be done. If nothing happens, then I would have to attack my iron reserves.
Semjase:
47. I am very glad to hear your words.
Billy:
I’m concerned for all of this just as much as you are, so I would still like to try my last resorts.
Semjase:
48. You are very great in yourself, because it’s ultimately not about your benefit, but about that of your humankind.
Billy:
But it’s also worth it, in my opinion, when I consider what their future can be.
Semjase:
49. You are selfless.
Billy:
Nonsense, then I wouldn’t be concerned about my livelihood and so on.
Semjase:
50. You are dishonest with yourself, because you know full well that my words correspond to the truth.
51. I’ve already pointed out to you just now that you have to stand by your capabilities.
Billy:
All right, I didn’t promise that I would change my inclination so quickly, but that I first have to think about all these things. But now, I still have some things that we have to discuss among ourselves, if you still have a few minutes left.
Semjase:
52. Of course.
Billy:
Well then, ______
